Join us for... Worship We have Sunday Morning Service each Sunday at 11:00 am (summer hours at 10:00 am, June through August). We also have an informal Saturday Evening Service at 6:30 pm. Each week our church gathers for inspirational and renewing worship, led by the Pastor and choir. Children's Time and Junior Church for Kindergarten through Fourth Grade children takes place during the Worship Service. The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month, on Covenant Sunday (the first of the year), Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, the first Sunday in June, August, October (Worldwide Communion) and December. This Sacrament is open to members and non-members. Preaching is regarded as a vital part of our Worship Service. Our Pastor places preparation for preaching as a top priority in his weekly schedule. Music is regarded as a special part of our Worship service. Our adult Chancel Choir sings regularly in the Sunday Service and practices on Thursdays at 6:30 pm. We also enjoy the Handbell Choir which rings for special services. Study
Vacation Bible School is held during the summer each year. It is a time of study, worship, fellowship and activities for children and youth of the church and community. Confirmation Classes are held for youth (6th through 12th Grade). These classes are taught by our Pastor and Church School leaders. They include classroom sessions, field trips and District events. Prayer and Bible Study are important to the life of our church. The following groups are available, a Prayer Chain (to lift up personal concerns and needs) and Bible Study which meets each Wednesday at 10:30 am and 7:00 pm led by the Pastor. Fellowship Children's Fellowship is offered through Kid's Day Out programs, Community Vacation Church School and special summer community programs. Our United Methodist Women meet at announced times. There are three circles for learning, fellowship and projects available to all women. A Luncheon and Bazaar are held annually. Conference Camping Program is supported and attended by the children and youth of our church with scholarships available. Congregational activities are a part of our church family life. These include special Worship Services, family night dinner programs, "Hanging of the Greens", picnics and concerts. Service We serve the people of our church and community through various ministries of our church including hospital visitations, pastoral counseling, educational ministries and supporting food banks. We serve our community by providing meeting space for many groups like Daisy, Brownies and Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Children's Day Care & Pre-School, Alcoholics Anonymous, Al Anon, Overeaters Anonymous, SLAA, Loyal Order of the Orange Lodge and a community Woodwind Ensemble. We are pleased to make our facilities available for community use.
